direct Chicago/Miami to Cancun in $150s-$160s RT

Beaches and ruins and tacos, oh my!

It's been a while since we've seen a deal to Cancun from Chicago, so we're just a bit jazzed :-)

We've got a nice drop here on direct flights with American for some winter sun. They are Basic Economy, so there's not a lot of flexibility. Mexico's pretty chill as far as Covid restrictions, though, which means there's one less thing to worry about as you're planning your trip.

After you land...

Cancun is beautiful, but it's worth taking a day drip down the coast to see some other Yucatan treasures.

About an hour south is bustling Playa del Carmen with its gorgeous beaches and awesome local taquerias. Yum!

Drive another hour to Tulum to check out the ruins of an ancient Mayan port city.

In both areas, you can also find some of Mexico's famous cenotes (natural underground lakes). Choo-Ha near Tulum is an especially good spot to swim among stalactites.
